Today's Expat Blog Challenge: Look at the 5th post you ever wrote on this blog. In hindsight, what do you think of your frame of mind and your writing?
The 5th blog post? Do I have to? Are you sure you wouldn't rather have me write about my 2nd blog post Resolutions for a new decade where I explore my life path? Okay fine, I'll write about my 5th blog post. Heck, I'll do you one better I'll include the whole thing for ya. [See below] Spoiler alert: I wrote about shoes.
My frame of mind? It was January. I was living in Chicago. It was cold - oh, so very cold. There was snow, plenty of it. I was thinking about keeping my feet warm. I was thinking about boots. Cute boots, cause gosh darn it, sometimes I like to be girly and cute.
So what do I think about this post now? Well, I'm a bit embarrassed I am revisiting it & not a more profound post - but, oh well... such is life. They can't all be winners. As for writing style? Did I really have one? This was pretty short & sweet - check out these deals.
I'm really looking forward to seeing what the other bloggers in the challenge wrote about for their 5th post. Will anyone have anything as embarrassing as mine?
